About these expansions
These expansions are AI-generated. The tool adds clarification and relevant elaboration around what YOU said; it is instructed not to invent facts, statistics, or claims. Always re-read the additions, the result stays fully editable and the highlight shows exactly what is new.
Expanding text is NOT a way to fool word-count graders or AI-detection systems; padded writing is easy to spot. Use it to develop genuinely thin passages.

How it works
The Sentence Expander runs your text through a large language model with a single job: develop it with relevant detail, fuller phrasing, and clarification, without inventing facts. You get an editable result, a highlight of everything added, before and after word counts, and readability scores.
Free visitors expand up to 1,500 characters per submission, and paid plans up to 12,000. For the opposite job there is the Sentence Shortener. For tone or formality changes, the Paraphrasing Tool offers all eight modes of the same engine.

Frequently asked questions
How do I expand a sentence with this tool?
Paste the sentence and click Expand. The tool develops it with clarification, context, and relevant detail. It then highlights everything that was added, so you can check each new phrase. The result is fully editable.
Does it work as a paragraph expander too?
Yes. The same engine grows short paragraphs into fuller ones. Paste a thin paragraph, or several, up to your plan's character limit. Each is developed in place, and the paragraph breaks are kept.
Will it invent facts to fill space?
It is told not to. The additions should be clarification, explanation, and smooth connecting phrases around what you wrote, not new claims or statistics. Even so, always re-read AI additions before publishing. That is why the changed-words highlight exists.
Is expanding text a good way to hit a word count?
Only when the text deserves it. If a passage is thin because it under-explains something, expansion fixes a real weakness. If you just need more words, padding is easy for teachers, editors, and readers to spot, and we will not pretend otherwise. Expand where the substance deserves more room.
How much longer will my text get?
Usually 30 to 80 percent more words, depending on how compressed the input was. The before and after word counts on the result card show exactly what happened. Expand again gives a different development of the same input.
What does the Highlight changes toggle show?
Every word that was added or altered against your original. Added phrases stand out, so you can read just the new material and decide whether each addition earns its place.
Can I make sure certain words stay?
Yes. List them under Keep these words before you click Expand. Product names, technical terms, and keywords listed there are kept word for word in the result.
Is it free?
Yes, with no signup. Free visitors expand up to 1,500 characters per submission, and paid plans up to 12,000. Each expansion uses part of a shared daily AI allowance shown by the quota chip.
